The Corner gammon joint is a smaller cut and leaner than a horseshoe gammon, and makes for the perfect family meal. Our corner gammons have a really sweet flavour and once cooked, provide a succulent treat.
Simply serve hot with homemade mash and parsley sauce, and any leftovers make for the best sandwiches.

The gammon joint should be removed from the vacuum packaging, and soaked in cold water for 12-24 hours.
Place the joint into a large pan (with lid) and introduce water to the pan. Fill until the ham is almost covered and put on the heat; allow 15-20 minutes cooking time per 450g of meat.
When the period of time allowed has elapsed, pour off the water and repeat the process.
Sweet treat – try drizzling honey and dress with brown sugar, and roast in a hot oven to give a sweet, sticky glaze.
