At Legges all of our beef is sourced from Herefordshire, from within a few miles of our shop. To ensure we source only beef of the highest quality, each week we individually select the best from a handful of local farmers whom we know and trust. We then hang our beef to mature for 28 days on the bone when our skilful butchers prepare each cut, delivering our celebrated succulent beef to your table.

Pour in a tin of chopped tomatoes, sprinkle in a stock cube and bring the mixture to the boil, stirring continually. For added flavour, half a glass of red wine can be added. Then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
